Commercial dog food is known to be cheaply made with unwanted meat scraps and highly processed. Fillers have little to no nutrition value, are added to help your dog feel full.
A recent study by The Consumer Council in Hong Kong found over 20% of commercial dog foods in available in Hong Kong contains cancer-causing toxins and even melamine, including those that are labelled as “Natural” and “Premium”. Long term consumption could increase the risk of liver impairment, liver tumours and even the suppression of the immune system. (Choice Magazine, April 2014).

We will deliver the food to you on the same day around the same time every week. We will automatically charge your credit card account two days before each delivery, and if you use manual payments, we will send you a reminder to pay 2 days before your scheduled delivery.   You don’t have to worry about forgetting to order!

Each of the 5 recipes contain the ingredients to bring your dogs’ health to the optimum level. They are ideal for digestion, exceptional functionality resulting in strong bones, healthy coat and skin along with a satisfied tummy.

The beef and chicken recipes are packed full of protein rich meat, wholesome fibre and just the right amount of carbohydrates for slow release energy for a healthy adult dog. The fish recipe packs the same nutritional benefits but with slightly less fat which is helpful for shedding a little weight. The lamb and pork meals are great for dogs with sensitivity.

Some of the lesser known ingredients are essential for ensuring a well-rounded meal. Flaxseed oil provides healthy polyunsaturated fats essential for repair and growth coupled with omega 3 which helps develop a beautiful coat and balanced skin.

The addition of sardines to each recipe allows the added intake of calcium rich soft bones that are excellent for teeth whilst chewing and are then easily absorbed internally.

Transition from your dog’s current food to Dogalicious should happen slowly. Ideally this should happen over 4 – 7 days depending on the sensitivity of your dog. Whilst you are changing to a very highly nutritious product, if your dog is only used to having dry biscuits then rich meats can mean a softer stool initially.

Each day you should replace ¼ of your dog’s current food with Dogalicious. If the transition is going smoothly then 4 days will be ideal for a complete change over. If you are noticing any stomach disturbance, then slow the process to substitute smaller amounts over a 7 day period.

You don’t need to worry about this. We have a proprietary algorithm to calculate the perfect portion for your dog, and package each meal individually accordingly. All you need to do is to take the food out of your fridge, cut it open and serve!

Brown Rice and Quinoa are the best way to get the nutrients dogs need without adding cheap artificial supplements like Manganese, Selenium and anti – oxidants. It’s a really great way to provide carbohydrates with a low glycaemic load. Dogs will only digest as much as they need, the rest is eliminated from the body. It’s like a self-regulating mechanism that allows for easy clearance. The inclusion of brown rice means they also get the husk and outer coating which aids in reduction of arterial plaque, aids teeth cleaning and lowers heart disease. Quinoa has the added benefit of being a quality protein source.

We recommend that you store the food in the freezer once you receive them. Defrost the meals in the fridge one day before feeding.

The bones you see in our meals are soft sardine bones. They are a great source of natural calcium. The bones are soft to eat and easily digested, so you don’t have to worry.
